2022 Entry Process
**Priority Entry Registration Period:**
Open Date: May 16, 2022
Close Date: Aug. 5, 2022
Coaches who want to ensure their team’s entry in the meet are strongly encouraged to submit team rosters and payment before Aug. 5, 2022. Registration and payment can be made at Direct Athletics. If you are going to pay by check please send to the following address:

Due to high interest in the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic, meet management may need to close the entry process if event capacity is reached before the Aug. 5 standard entry registration open date or anytime before the registration close date of Sept. 23.
Team rosters can be updated until the standard entry deadline of Sept. 23. All requests to exceed priority roster size of 10 athletes must be submitted for approval by Aug. 5 to meet director David Lawhorn (lawho9@aol.com).
NEW for 2022 – if you are a coach of a large team, race management strongly recommends you get your request in early. As we get closer to Aug. 5, a request for large teams may not be granted based on the total field size of the six college races as of that date. Keep in mind, the request for extra athletes is not a complete list of names and TFRRS ID’s, just a number. The full names and TFRRS ID’s of extra athletes will need to be emailed by Sept. 1 to David Lawhorn (lawho9@aol.com). Keep in mind these are the extra athletes you DID NOT already enter in Direct Athletics (DA). Also, you can edit your DA meet roster up to the meet deadline.
NOTE: You are not in the meet until you have REGISTERED and PAID.
Priority Entry Fee:
The 2022 priority entry fee is $350 per team and $700 for both men and women teams that register and pay by Aug. 5. If you choose to pay by check, it must be received at the Louisville Sports Commission’s office by Aug. 5.
**Standard Entry Registration Period:**
Open Date: Aug. 6, 2022
Close Date: Sept. 23, 2022
The standard entry period is ONLY for teams that did not enter rosters and make payment during the priority entry period (May 16 through Aug. 5).
Remember that meet management may need to close the entry process if event capacity is reached before the standard entry registration deadline of Sept. 23.

All requests to exceed standard roster size of seven athletes must be submitted for approval by Sept. 15 to meet director David Lawhorn (lawho9@aol.com).
NEW for 2022 – The maximum number of extra athletes that could be granted will not exceed three (3) for all requests during the standard entry period (Aug. 5- Sept. 15). Again, keep in mind if the field size has been reached for all six races you may not be able to get extra athletes in meet.

Standard Entry Fee:
The 2022 standard entry fee is $400 per team and $800 for both men and women teams that are registered between Aug. 6 through Sept. 23. If you pay by check, it must be received at the Louisville Sports Commission’s office by Sept. 23.
